Cheers shipmates, the tartan bands on the tail and fuselage of the wee VA-46 Clansmen Corsairs was a bugger to do. I won't be in a hurry to do another carrier..........unless I can get a USS John F. Kennedy, the Clansmen had a very nice blue tail and tartan stripes scheme aboard the J.F.K. around '71..... :grin:

Thanks again for the whales, vigilantes and phantoms, Howard. They helped make this! (the "09" comment is hereby expunged from your record!) :lol:

Absolutely stunning PT. The ship itself is a mini masterpiece and the base sets it off a treat.

Lovely job on that! The only Kennedy I know of was the old Monogram (I think) in 1/800 scale. I have everything from the Forrestal through to the Reagan in either Revell or Italeri in 1/720, but sadly no Kennedy. You're very welcome on the aircraft, glad to see they were put to good use.
