It looks great to me Marky. 8-)

Well done on getting it finished. There's enough time for a second build you know

Thanks chaps. Have to say I really did enjoy this build, so much so that I got this done before the two Hurricanes in that GB, despite having two more weeks for this GB!!!. The Moskva is worryingly close to the workbench!......
And yes Gnome, there are little guns and weapons all over the place!!.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

I enjoyed watching it being built and really like the end result! With respect to detailing, there is only so much in 1/700 that can be done without sacrificing weeks upon weeks of labour and at the end both looks equally good from normal viewing distance. I like yours a lot.

Very nice result. Looking at all that hardware deployed around the decks reaffirms my obsession when playing Harpoon to hit it with everything in the inventory before it had the chance to cut loose with its own arsenal!

Thanks chaps!!. James I think that's a good idea. With enough weapons one of them's bound to hit you!!. Did see a picture in a book today where it had a very different weapon fit on the front with a dozen or so tubes (missile?), gun turrets a more!. Think this was earlier in it's service. Appreciate all the kind words, did enjoy this one and no real problems apart from the instructions being in Japanese!!. This only caused a problem when you had to do something on both sides of the hull, such as the weapons at the rear corners.
P.S. Moskva has been started but making no promises!!.

Thank you Sir!. It is a kit I would recommend, good fit, no flaws that I can recall and about five decals!!. The only thing I might do differently another time is get rid of the raised lines on the flight deck. They're not too bad but they are a bit obvious and get in the way of painting any other lines, such as the yellow ones you might be able to see. An enjoyable build too.

Thanks matey!. Strangely enough I don't really like Chicken Kiev!. I did try and build her sister ship Minsk but removed the weaponry and sensors on the bow, tried to put a ski jump on it instead!, not a total success but learnt enough to do a better job years later.
