Here's my first attempt at a seascape. An old CD with green and blue acrylic paint, followed by a smear of some wave making stuff (glorified PVA I suspect).

If it is a Liquitex then it is a 'glorified PVA' just as you said. For all its toy-like look when you first revealed it, it actually looks amazing after your treatment.

Great work on a kit that could easily be swallowed whole by the Carpet Monster, never mind a Sea Monster!
