Finished!!, even though the GB has been extended to the 28th I wanted to see if I could meet the original deadline and I just made it. Moskva was completed and 'launched' at 21:29 last night!.

Very impressive. Well done. I always thought that ship looked really cool and futuristic for its day and you've rekindled that thought. I gather it wasn't a great performer though :-)

Thanks!. I've read that they pitched badly in rougher seas, something to do with the front end being so narrow and tapered and having most of the heavy stuff on it. Result was the front end went up and down rather heavily. The air wing apparently was also not large enough for the ASW job they were given, even though they could carry 18 Ka-25's!. The deck lifts were also too narrow for anything other than the Hormones, Mil-8's carried on exercise had to stay on the deck as they would not fit into the lifts!.
So, no, maybe not perfect!!
