Martin's SEAC Fury ***Finished***
Re: Martin's SEAC Fury
I never found the Heller windscreen. No idea where that disappeared to when I dropped it. Howeve5r, I had a Tempest canopy on a Falcon vacform sheet, so cut it out and sanded it 'sort of' to size. There's a fair bit of overhang at the sides, filled with white glue. It looks ok, but no better than that; it also shows up starkly the limitations of my cockpit fiddling. Still, if I ever find the original windscreen, I can always replace it.
I was bored after getting that on and painting it, so I added the bombs.
Remaining to do: a scoosh of satin varnish, 'steel' colour on the panel aft of the exhausts, a soupcon of weathering and then just Pitot, radio aerial and remaining undercarriage doors to add. Should be finished on time.
regards,
Martin

Very nice indeedy.
Lots of good detailing.
The larger canopy looks better. I believe the PM canopy is actually the small size of a racer one, not the proper size for a FB.

Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.
