The Deutsche Luftberatungsdienst Sees Red **Fertig**

The German Aviation Advisory Service bought several T.20 aircraft. Some were equipped as target tugs.

It fit together slightly better than the T.20. Maybe the new fuselage is slightly better matched to the wings.

Image

I did try thinning the trailing edges this time, but probably not enough to make a noticeable difference!

Image

And then some filler was applied, sanded and off to the paint shop for some light grey on the seams.

Image

Still a fair amount to do!

Cheers

Trying out the Ferrari Red on Panzergrau colour idea on the spinner.

Image

It came out pretty nicely. That means I can spray the whole airframe with Panzergrau primer. So that's nice and easy!

Several on EBAY right now. Kit is cheap, even with CAN$ right down the pan, postage much greater! May be cheaper to ship from UK than USA.

I'll probably finish this one as D-CAMI

Thanks for the heads up, David and Andrew. I believe a more local solution may be had at an LHS on the west side of town. But I prefer to sit back and watch you all work some furious magic on this aircraft for the time being.....

That was NOT the last round of filling

However, to give the illusion of progress, I have masked the yellow propeller tips and sprayed the blades black.

Started priming.

Image

It is very humid here in Ottawa today, so I am using very thin coats of primer and leaving longer than usual for it to dry.

Priming complete, and we get a thin coat of Ferrari Red on.

And a second coat.
