Dais Boeing 377 BOAC.

Post by DH-Drover »

I have all the bitties, taken photos and have started the model, but I am having trouble editing the photos. Am awaiting reply to my earlier post elsewhere on the forum.

I have joined up the fuselage, wings and tail planes. The fuselage did not require seam filling except for the small holes for other parts used when building military aircraft. The glazing for the flight deck did cause a few problems but a bit of sanding and polishing cured it.
I should have photos tomorrow.

Am I right in saying this is a Stratocruiser?

In a word, No. I'm afraid life got in the way. A 21 year old family member, Sasha THE cat died. Also It was decided that a new car was a needed.
The B377 will be finished soonest with photos.

Ah mate, so sorry to hear about your cat. 21 is a very good innings for a cat, but all the more difficult to lose a companion of that many years.

Life seems to have conspired against a number of us on this GB (myself included). I wonder if it's just the time of year.

Anyway, once you finish this, whenever that is, be sure to post it up in Aviation Modelling so we can all see :)
