Marking my turf for the Blitz. Hopefully next week.

I will be maintaining my Grumman Cat theme in Blitz's with this beastie. It is a older kit picked up at a show but looks complete.

Markings are the VF81, VT26 and the Blue Angels. I am looking at doing a line squadron so VF81 is the choice.

Jeff,

It looks a very Eye-catching plane, and good luck with the build.

Best Regards,

I've built the Hase one of this, a sweet little kit for it's age.

Getting a playlist together. I will probably entertain the kids with some 60's British Invasion and 70's British Invasion II stuff and some Yes.

So will be starting out in the morning. I get a little geeked up over Blitzbau's.

A little Jethro Tull gentlemen? Wish I was 20 again.

And we are off. I have the usual cast of characters present like Bruce the sprue eating shark.

The first hour passed quite well. I tend to skip around the instructions a little putting together pieces with two halves. Also drilling out required holes for underwing stores etc.
