Arc has a bit of a Tiff.. But he did it anyway

Post by Arcwelder »

OK, barring any unforseen circumstances, I'm going to do terrible things to Airfix's new-tool Typhoon starting at 8pm Cork Summer Time (which is the same as BST, just damper).

I'll hit the offie on the way home (any excuse for midweek boozing) and also load up on grease and starch. This is going to be fun in a masochistic sort of way.

So, this is my first time getting a look at the new tool Tiff and it's very nice indeed. Lots of talented people put many man-hours into rendering an impressive amount of detail in a small scale.

Shame what's going to happen to it in about forty minutes...

Eyes are upon you. I loved that kit.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

As of now, paint is drying on parts, several of them small

and I'm about to make what will surely turn out to be a terrible decision... am I biting off far more than I can chew by cutting into the wing to expose that lovely gun bay? Almost certainly.

Good music for rash decisions..

There would appear to be a bacon sandwich sized hole in that wing.

That was not a criticism.

Merely an observation.

Bacon sandwich anybody?
