Great looking build so far. Man, look at all that stowage.

Re: He Who Dares Blitzes!
Oh man, this is excellent OT. A great Tamiya kit getting the blitz treatment - there's more parts there than I would dare try in a blitz I can tell you. Best of luck with it.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: He Who Dares Blitzes!
Here we go for round 2. The main plan for tonight is to:
The sharp eyed amongst you will have noticed the extra sand channel.
Cosmic turned up with that this afternoon so thanks mate.
I have also stocked up on supplies in case I get hungry.
Onwards & upwards.
- get the stowage completed and installed.
Paint & attach any weapons - although I may leave the tewin Vickers until last.
Assemble the crew & clean up seams etc.
Paint the fighures. This will be a first for me so expect some drug crazed eyes.
Heavily weather everything.
If time allows, create a small base to display this lovely Tamiys kit.

Re: He Who Dares Blitzes!
Not much to see just waiting on things to dry before attaching more stoage.
I did at the 4th attempt get the compass on so am having a glass of wine to celebrate.
I have also started painting the figures but like I said before really have no idea what I am doing.
We live & learn.

Re: He Who Dares Blitzes!
Thanks mate and glad to have you aboard.
Apologies for the lack of updates as I have been watching football on TV whilst chipping away at this.
The stowage is now all in and I am test fitting the figures.
I have had to remove the steering wheel to get the driver in. It does say that in the onstructions but I missed that.
I'm starting to get tired now so I may skip building a display base. Will see how I feel.

Re: He Who Dares Blitzes!
Nearly there. Just need to let the flesh tone dry then beardy guys rule.Arcwelder wrote:Beard painting. That's what we need to see!
So whilst that dries I have a cunning plan to make a base only using the supplies I have to hand.
More to follow.

Calling this one done after 19 hours. Hope you like it.
That is another kit built although I fancy getting another of these and doing a .50 cal armed jeep.
There is room on that stand for another!
Off to bed now. Night all.

Re: He Who Dares Blitzes!
Great job on that. I remember doing this years ago and you have done a better job on a blitz than I did taking my time
