After taking most of the summer off from modeling, I've decided to get back into it full steam and join the Blitzbau fun. I like to think I've just been saving all my modeling energy this summer for just this group build. After going through the stash, I've decided I have three choices.
First choice - Academy's 1/72 F4F-4 Wildcat
Second choice - Tamiya's 1/35 Type 82 Kubelwagen
Third choice - Revell's 1/48 Spitfire Mk II
I'd like to save the Spitfire for the BoB GB, so that's probably the least likely to be chosen. That leaves the Kubelwagen and the Wildcat. I'm planning on starting the build about this time (6pm) tomorrow (Saturday), so I've got a little time to think it over. Of course, opinions are welcome.
I decided to try my luck with the bucket wagon. I think it's been in my stash the longest, therefore, it takes seniority. It will be finished with one color, which speeds the process too. Not to mention, it's a Tamiya, so if I shake the box just right, most of it will go together on it's own!
