Good food and great builds just what blitz builds are all about.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

A couple of updates from this afternoon. The need to run other errands has prevented me from posting as regularly as last time.
One top color on, masked for the second.
Major painting done, touching up underway.

Nice job on the paint work. Making good progress.

Finished, with not much time to spare!
Oh, later on I might apply a few more clearcoats to even out some of the touchups, maybe fill that gap around the canopy and locate or replace that radio mast that went flying into the carpet, but finished enough.
I used a combination of acrylics and enamels on this paint job, and had my reservations about applying Future/Klear before the decals. Would it wreck the finish? Ultimately I decided to follow Freddie Mercury's advice (not that that was ever really a smart thing to do). But I'll let Freddie have the closing words for this build.
