Friday 21st 6:30pm GTT (Greater Teesside Time). Going for the straight 24 hour man-blitz as I need to be free for my wedding anniversary the following evening!

Mrs OT is very understanding.

There will be a 'dogfight double' theme. Details to follow.

Promise we will be on our best behaviour this time. :bounce:

We had planned to do a Dogfight Double build but the twin stand has not arrived yet
If I can find two stands that will still be the case. I like in-flight, no tricky undercarriage and I have some prop blurs somewhere. Must dig those out tonight.
I am also running low on RAF Green paint so a trip to HobbyCraft tonight too.

Anyway, Cosmic will try to build one of these:

Image

Lots of canopy framing. He will love that (expect some bad language around midnight!).

Whilst I will shake this box:

Image

A big Blitzbau bonus with my kit is the inclusion of a painted canopy!
Image

This could be a possible Blitzbau Nirvana moment.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :ha:

My kit box is a little battered but the contents are all there:

Image

Anyway, we plan to convene in the pub about 15:30 hours for a fish & chip supper in preparation for a long night.
(better remember to put clean underwear on )

Hope you can join us.

Don't Drink and Blitz... wait, what am I saying? Drink Heavily and Blitz.. and if the Dinah's wings somehow end up on the Spit, then we'll call it "Art".

Looking forward to this!

Cosmic thinks his kit maybe a filler queen. Cue the music:

Cosmic has an issue with paint:

My build starts with the cockpit. So conventional me.

Apparently it's wine o'clock all ready!

All is going well. Wine & pringles go together really well!

Paul is playing some game called Destiny - all a bit effeminate for me. :???:
Listening to maiden now. A new single apparently:

Finnski has arrived - anyone remember him?
He is finishing off some kind of Warhammer thing:

This one is for Cosmic.

His Dinah is coming along.

Image

It's not a bad fit considering it's age.

.. Is what I say everytime I manage to squeeze my gut into the trousers of my expensive Italian wool suit, bought quite a few years ago.

]Looks like all is going well in the Haus..

That Dinah's cranking along there.

Also, I approve of the Electric Six. Now I need to go listen to Danger! High Voltage.

Sorry for the lack of updates, we have been watching 'Ripper Street'.

The Dinah has an interior although I don't imagine much will be seen once the glazing is attached.
Image

Never to be seen again.
Image

The Spitfire is coming together nicely:
Image

THE FIT IS EXCELLENT. Unfortunately the kit does not include a pilot so this Airfix bod will be mutilated to fit.
Image

And the wings are on:
Image

Series 3 of banshee now. 8-)

The Spitfire is ready for some primer.
