Beany's big Big BIG Intruder

Post by beany »

It was purely a coincidence that postie delivered this 3 days before the start of this GB that I've only just noticed, but I'm taking it as a sign!

I may sneak an early start tonight and start cutting some of the parts off of sprues (which is the bit I like best when making a kit) as there are over 570 of 'em!!!

Cheers
Al.

Bloody hell!

That's gonna take a lot of views of Flight of the Intruder to get you through it! :-D

Now that is a welcome addition to the build.

I've got the Revell 1/48 Intruder, and I'd be unsure about getting that finished in a GB (especially one that overlaps the BoB GB)
....although in that scale it would be helluva tempting to do the crew as a wee Brad Johnson and Willem Defoe in front of an Intruder loaded for 'Iron Hand' :-D

570 parts / 31 days in Aug x 5 days gone = should have about 92 parts assembled by now .... :ha:

No worries there, 399 parts are associated with armament :)
