Re: Purplethistles tartan scooter
Seeing as I'm going to be doing a lot of decalbashing with this, I'm leaving off all the sticky-out and breaky-off bits until the end. The kit decals are for Bu.No. 149996 side no. 416, I'm changing it to 150129 and 417. theoretically it's possible to do this by surgery alone!

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Many thanks for the kind words chaps,
CAG, You said that you have one of these in your stash. I can recommend it, it's a wee bit sparse in the 'pit and it benefits from something put in behind the intakes but all in all a nice wee kit ....and the decals that I used are gorgeous!

I'm glad that someone else gets a buzz from planes wearing tartan, Kit, you should check out some of the colour schemes of VA-46 Clansmen. I'm planning on working my way through most of them!Kitaholic wrote:Now that is really nice. as a born Scot anything with a bit of tartan really tickles me. Great finish
