Cheers guys :-D and yes i'm enjoying working in one of the larger scales for once. If it wasn't for a lack of space I'd do a lot more of them.

Gull Grey uppers going on now, two coats so far and at least one more will be needed:

Well the Gull grey paintwork is finished but that is as far as I am going to get  I am off on my first foreign holiday for nearly 20 years tomorrow so I will be finishing the Fury when I'm back in Blighty. The plan is to finish for the 19th so its ready for the CBK display at Farnborough.

Sorry guys but its my own fault for not freeing up sufficient time.

Tom,

Take 117 UAMF demerits for not leaving enough time! It would have been 118, but I'm in much the same predicament . . .

Enjoy your hols. Going somewhere nice?

regards,

Martin

Punishment dually accepted Martin, I'm very disappointed with not finishing in time. I could blame the paint for needing four coats or its long drying time but I have been doing this long enough to know better

Off to the beautiful island of Sicily for my cousins wedding, my Aunt and Uncles' wedding anniversary, my second cousins christening and a long week of family events. It could either be fantastic or the week from hell :ha: time will tell. At least hot sunny weather is almost guaranteed :-D
