Innard bits have been painted, so I'm starting to assemble the cockpit parts.

Cockpit assembled - looks a bit rough here, I'll admit, but it isn't as bad as it appears!

Wings and tailplane are now attached, with focus now shifted on to the engine bay.

That's looking really good. Quite an improvement on the old one which had about 29 pieces I think.

Got this one to build, and I am looking forward to the new Airfix Japanese models. I wonder if the will ever get around to some of the bombers.

Well, it's more the case that I'm not going to get anywhere near a hobby shop in the next few days, and I want to get this one off the board before I start anything with elliptical wings, and dark green looks the closest that I have...!

Given the Airfix scheme is for a training Aircraft you could also paint the undersides yellow orange.
