I rather think that I am . . . although my defence would be that I didn't buy the Beaufighter Mk X / FW190A-8 dogfight double, which was also available. :)

Hi John!
Can you find a little place for me in this esteemed group? Because if someone somewhere smash Huns, it must be there at least one Pole :) Always it was, is, and will be. Can not be otherwise ;-)

Congratulations. This Squadron is now operational.

However, I believe, some 115s were brought down by the RAF during the Battle period whilst they were laying mines.

On the Allied side we shouldn't forget the venerable Shagbat; the Walrus, used for ASR
I wanted to include the Walrus in a wider build alongside this GB but all the info I can find suggests the Walrus was late to the battle or after it. Have I got it wrong?. Anyone know for sure?.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

If I complete the Bf110 reasonably quickly I may round of my Luftwaffe Battle of Britain twin engine collection
with the RS Models Junkers JU86P used in very small numbers during the Battle of Britain as a high altitude
reconnaissance aircraft to assess damage and seek out targets:

There's an August 1940 camouflage option in the box. One of the more unusual BoB types.

A most unusual BoB subject.
IIRC a Spitfire pilot sacrificed himself to bring one of those down. They thought they were untouchable at the height they worked.

Your memory is better than mine Fred! A quick check of my references reveals that you are absolutely correct.

Cheers,
