Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Any kit, any scale, any subject so long as it represents a participant during the period 10 July - 31 October, 1940. The GB runs 15 August through 15 September and your host is DazDaMan.

Being the old-tool Spit Ia, it's a doddle to put together, although the rear portion of the wing was a bit of a sod to join to the fuselage without a decent amount of superglue.

I'll varnish and weather the model later on.

Sorry, Steve, I forgot to reply to your comment.

My previous experiences with the new-tool Spit haven't been happy ones, with the cockpit parts usually needing a lot of faffing about in order to fit the fuselage.

The old-tool job just goes together - no fuss at all.

That being said, my Stapme Stapleton Spitfire went together absolutely fine.
