Thanks bud.

Unfortunately life is getting in the way at the moment, especially work. :frown:

I have managed to get the underside painted though:

Hopefully tonight I can get the paint work completed and a Klear coat on for decals tomorrow. :)

Sorry for the lack of updates. We just upgraded our broadband and in moving the router I inadvertently cut off my pc as it didn't have a wi-fi card!
You would never guess that I worked in IT! :drool2:

Progress has been slow but purely down to work and not this kit.
Decals are going on so we are nearly there.

Those letters are massive! :???:

Looks great - that squadron's oversized code letters always looked neat to me. Sort of saying to the Luftwaffe 'Yes, we're back!'.

Very nice OT. They certainly are large letters and roundel alright!

That is impressive, and those markings certainly are large, even larger than the ones on my Hurricane.

 Having a bit of an issue with the wing roundals.

It will need the MicroSol treatment I think. Once that is done I will give the whole thing a coat of klear to seal it in then a matt varnish coat to dull it down a bit. There are no markings on the underside so I will apply a few stencils there.
Also the instructions don't mention the red dope patches over the machine gun openings that I associate with this era. Should I add them? :???:

Nicely done! Isn't it amazing how good things look with a wee bit of dope? ;-)
