Although I haven't built any myself their recent new tool kits seem to bear that out from what I've seen. Long may that continue. Hopefully the Hurricane I'm building for this GB will be the first of many for me.

Crooked cops. Do they come any other way? If I'd been just a little dumber, I could have joined the force myself.

That looks to be a really nice kit, and coming together nicely as well.

Looking good. I'm trying to finish the Dornier 17 before starting my Defiant. Pretty sure mine will be 264 Squadron too, but different serial as I'm using an old BoB decal set.

Looking good.

(I've just got this as part of the Dogfight Doubles set with the Dornier, which in the instructions tells you to paint the pilots face the same shade as the underside of the plane. Now, my face might be that shade after being thrown about in the back of a Defiant, but I suspect that it's actually incorrect :) )

Ugh, I haven't been able to do a lot with this one recently. I did get a base coat of camo on during the week, and will add a second tomorrow morning. Hoping to get decals on in the evening and a blitz on the details to finish on Monday and Tuesday..........

Paul,

I hope that you get it finished, but don't rush it and ruin it. a shame to waste all that really good work so far.

OK, so this isn't going to get finished tonight - perhaps tomorrow, but it'll still need a dullcoat and that won't happen until the weekend.

Got all the camo colour coats on over the weekend, got most of the decals done last night and sealed in today, and have added most of the fiddly bits. The turret is receiving black decal strips for the framing and needs finishing up. The paintwork all needs touching up and some weathering will be added. This is how it stands tonight:

If I don't get it done before the GB is locked, I'll finish it in my workbench window thread. :)

Sorry, just got too much going on at the moment...

If you want a couple of days, I don't see why we can't keep this open until Friday...?

Thanks anyway, Daz, but I really can't airbrush until Sunday, so it wouldn't get finished until then.
