Daz had better Hurri up! **FINISHED!!**

Well, since I've done two Spits, I might as well do a Hurricane, too!

My kit of choice will be this one:

I chose this kit, and this aircraft, for a very good reason: it's still around!

Yep, currently hanging from the ceiling in the Science Museum in London:

So, not only a Battle of Britain aircraft, but a surviving veteran, too.

So, got the Hurricane out to make a start on it:

First impressions of the kit are that it seems nice, and right up there with the other Airfix offerings I've seen lately. Made a start on the internals, so pics later.

It looks rather more detailed than my offering, and I suppose that the next picture will be of it completed, alongside the Ju87 ;-)

Well, sorry for the lack of updates on this one, but it has progressed slightly in the past few days....

I found the undercarriage to be a bit of a pig - I don't quite think mine have gone in right, but they're in and holding the model up at the right height!

All in all, I enjoyed this wee kit. Minor issues with the landing gear aside, this went together without a problem. A very nice wee build.

And that's your lot, folks. Hope you've enjoyed my builds - can't believe I managed six in the month, but there you go! :-D

Really very impressive work indeed.

Do I gather that you are now finished for the month, or will you manage to slip in a HeIII or two before closing time?

Sadly not - the Heinkel I have in the build pile is slated for conversion to a CASA version with Merlin engines.
