Final bits of admin before I close the fuselage.. IP getting pinpricks of Hu33 and some brass on the bezels
Macro camera makes the seats look terrible and skew-whiff.. they're dead straight in reality
Wheel ready to attach to the control column and we're good to go for fuselage close.
This all-resin stuff is one heck of a learning curve, but ticking along nicely..

I know nothing about this type of a/c, but is the stick in your second to last image the control column? If it is, is it in the correct hole as it looks a long way forward from the seat?

The instructions don't really indicate where its meant to go.. but, yeah, I spotted that too. I put it in there, took the photo and then thought "I'm pretty sure 1920s pilots didn't have six foot long arms" and repositioned.. I think that hole is for the rudder pedals

Imageshack is giving a 404 so I guess someone forgot to put a Shilling in the meter. Photos as and when its back. I'm still going slowly and this has DNF written all over it (I'm definitely not hurrying to meet the deadline as that way disaster lies).
The oils for the wood effect should be dry enough to varnish by tomorrow. The wings have had some paint and holes for rigging drilled etc. What seems like hundreds of wee struts are also painted and awaiting assembly and the engine and support assembly is nearly good to go. Stranger things have happened than actually finishing this on time. Watch this space.

A DNF, I'm afraid.. the weekend was too crowded to allow for a sprint to the finish. Will pick this up in aviation modelling..
