Now that's some nice modelling you've done. The wheels looks spot on.

Re: Marky's Cat.
Thanks chaps. I am happy with the wheels even if they disagree slightly with the pics I have!.
Just a few progress pics. Engines and props are painted, or at least started. Wings are together in the three sections.

Re: Marky's Cat.
Thanks Kit. Progress so far has been okay, apologies for not posting, been using all available time to model!!.
Gun position blisters on and decals on..
Canopy on, not sure if you can see but I've reduced the with and thickness of the cheek 'panels' along the nose. I've also added a mooring 'hook'.
Wings nearly done, engines assembled.

Re: Marky's Cat.
Steaming on matey, I've never built a kit in sections once painted. Hope it all fits together nicely.
Re: Marky's Cat.
Thanks all. I thought it would be easier to attach the wing support struts if I was only trying to hold the centre section rather than the entire million foot wide wing! . I had to sand the centre section edges but that might just have been my construction effort!. All has gone well and she in finished. Apologies for the lack of pics but time for models was a little limited and so all time went on finishing her. Apologies also for the pic quality, seem to be getting some glare or something. anyway, I present...

Re: Marky's Cat.
Lovely build and great touch in the last picture. My dad would've been well chuffed. Many thanks for doing it in those markings. Really appreciated. I owe you a beer or two

Re: Marky's Cat.
You're very welcome. I wasn't sure about the figure but I hoped it would be okay, sort of an 'in honour' thing. It was nice to have some historical context to the build, really got the old juices gong as far as building it and so on.TobyC wrote:Lovely build and great touch in the last picture. Great build and finish, and as you said, even better when it has meaning

Top build Marky, and the added figure shows that you're a top bloke too.
