It is coming along really well! I think you have to try and do something about the non-existent engines though, that will stick out like a sore thumb on the finished model otherwise.

Dumped the simpler plan and went for replacement
The cowl on the right is straight from the box, middle is the kit cowl with the centre removed and left is an engine from the Airfix B-29. Fingers crossed now
Think a bit of black paint will have to do for the intake

Watching this makes my Plasticart BE6 look rather sad and minimalist. Still, I'll build it some day. Yours looks great and gives me ideas on how to improve the Plasticart one.
