Fitting the nose is proving problematic. There's a lug the sits proud on the fuselage that is stopping the nose from sitting flush. Have I missed something?

Did you try rotating the nose piece. IIRC it goes one way. Or cut out the lug that stops it from fitting. Also I think that there is a slot for the exhaust pipe that needs to be in alignment.

Getting the floats lined up is no easy task. I eventually used plasticine to hold them straight and put in the spacing bars.

Misread the painting instructions and forgot to paint the top of the wings red so that's that minor hiccup sorted.
