Lost pictures

Post by Ratch »

The last few days I've hardly seen any pictures on this site  All I can see is...

When I click on the word I get a link to the IHS and can see the picture. Other pictures show OK - sometimes in the same post :ha:
Any idea why :???:

No idea really; my usual suggestion is try clearing your cache (and history if you haven't for a while.....other than that hopefully an expert will be along soon
Best wishes

Also try logging off the site, if you have the "remain logged on" box checked.

Hmmm, not a clue. I cannot duplicate the problem.
I agree with first steps of log-off, clear browser cache.

Let us know. Can you cite a few threads you are looking at ?

I have also seen the same thing on occasion, though when I looked around before writing this, I couldn't find any examples. A more annoying thing for me, is the disappearance of the upload pictures button from the mobile site, while using my mobile. The button is also missing if I switch to full site.

The postimage button is still there for me on my mobile, which uses 'Samsung Internet' for browsing

Good.

As to the postimage button, Bill gates & Microsoft don't want us to have it anymore. Seems to work elsewhere.

I'd still try emptying your internet browser cache; that tends to be the issue whenever I get similar problems. The cache remains intact even if the battery is removed or if you delete your browser history in some cases.

I thought the reason was due to the link with a hosting site such as Photobucket no longer being available
