I really like the look of the B-36 and for me it's a toss up whether it or the B-29 is the best looking prop-driven heavy bomber ever built. But and it's a BIG but, 1/48th scale? not on your Nelly our kid. 1/144th but even that could be too big for what space I have currently available and, even if I decluttered a bit, 1/350th might still be a safer bet!

I didn't say it wasn't cool, I used to watch them (as in more than one) fly over my house way back but I just don't do much of anything past 1940-ish.
