Watching so many movies on prime recently it's hard to keep track.
Currently working my way through the 1st series of the X-files.

I did that a couple of years back...enjoyed it while it was in monster of the week mode but gave up after series 2 when all the conspiracy stuff started to get crazy...

Yeah the first two series were the best - I'll probably do the same.SJPONeill wrote:I did that a couple of years back...enjoyed it while it was in monster of the week mode but gave up after series 2 when all the conspiracy stuff started to get crazy...

The Wall
A war movie with a difference, with two US soldiers pinned down by a sniper in Iraq. Very low budget, despite the two pretty big names in the cast.
Rather good, though.

Hacksaw Ridge.
With all the wounded being lowered down the cliff face, I thought it kinda strange no one climbed up to see what was going on
Very brave medic though.

Despicable Me 3. (DVD), liked it a lot in the cinema, and enjoyed it again. I'm not sure it is equal to the first two but I do think it will be extremely close.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Haha good choice Mark!
The last one we watched in the Cinema was Thor Ragnorock.
And the one before that was Kingsmen 2.
And before that was Spiderman Homecoming.
On Tuesday were going to see Justice League.

The last film I watched was The Train. Burt Lancaster plays a French Resistance fighter trying to stop a train full of looted artworks from making its way to Nazi Germany in 1944.
Really rather good - spectacular setpieces for a film of its age, including a Spitfire strafing attack and a couple of very realistic bombing raids.
