I finished The Adjustment Bureau about 3 hours ago. I'm still not sure if I liked it or not!? I think it was just 'meh'!

There's always this version.

I know, I was watching the beginning last night - absolutely hilarious in places!

Before Red Tails, wifey and I saw The Big Year. Birders are like model builders. Martin-Black-Wilson: a very funny team and a pretty good movie.

War Horse.

And before anybody asks, don't bother.

Too long, over-sentimentalised, historically inaccurate drivel.

And that's the polite version.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, on DVD last night.

Top film, forgotten how much fun it was. Just .. don't expect too much in the way of logical, watertight plotting!

"Julie and Julia" not bad, quite a laugh, nice touchy feely one, hopefully keep in the wife's good book for a while now...

Meryl Streep is a good actor, has anybody seen Iron Lady?

Flash Gordon.

Brian Blessed, Topol and Max von Sydow really chow down on that scenery - it's a blessing they don't share much screen time - I think the screen would combust...

Powell & Pressberger's "She Know Where She's Going" from when every actor talked in a clipped English accent... even those playing Scots.

Iron Lady - if Meryl Streep doesn't win the Oscar, there's no justice. A very sad movie.

...by being a better picture...? Good call by the Academy, if you ask me.

YMMV, of course...

Bestest,
