Fantastic. Loved every minute.
Going to break out an AT-AT to build as soon as Christmas is over.
I think they had two types of AT-AT in the film, standard ones and those massive ones with the beefed up front legs and chin plates. I want one of those!!.
See, now you've done it! I never knew there were two types...... :???:

I'm doing the type I've got in stock :ha:

:-D :-D
Best wishes

Sorry!! . Apparently it's called the AT-M6 due to the cannon above the 'head'. M6 means Megacalibre 6. It seems to be t least a third bigger than a AT-AT and bulky as heck. Still hope there's a model of one!!.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Just watched 'The Spacewalker' a Russian film with English subtitles. Not saying I enjoyed it but it's certainly one I am going to get on blueray/DVD if I can. An incredible film.
Currently on Now TV.

All the best.

Battle for Moscow aka Panfilovs 28 men. In Russian with English subtitles
Downloaded from Sky, The tale of 28 Guardsmen holding off the German panzers approaching Moscow. Entertaining stuff with realistic Panzer IIIs if you dismiss the thoughts, 'Why didn't the Germans just go around what was not a big defensive position?' or 'Why didn't the Germans have Stukas for close air support?'

The Shallows...was ok
I stared a century thinking this will never change
As I hesitated, time rushed onwards without me
Too scared to break the spell, too small to take a fall
But the absolute luck is, love is in our hearts!

Fantastic Beasts and where to find them
I didn't think this would be to my taste, but right from the off it was really entertaining. It does help that we have a sound system that shakes the house and no attached neighbours! :-D
We are looking forward to the sequel that comes out later in the year
Best wishes

Scrolling through Netflix yesterday (it was my turn) I almost selected Starship Troopers, but decided to watch Odd Thomas. My wife read some of the Odd Thomas books and thought "what the heck". It was ok, supernatural stuff and all, but not as fun as my first choice.

Went to see "First Man" with my son this weekend. All in all, it was a pretty good movie. It doesn't have the dramatic impact that "Apollo 13" or "Hidden Figures" had, but it was an interesting and entertaining way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The first part of BBC2s two part documentary '100 days to victory' on WW1 was excellent. The next part is next Tuesday but last nights episode will be on iplayer.

BBC2, Tuesday at 9pm, Ratch.
It's a joint BBC Scotland/ Australia/ Canada production, so it's possible that it may be shown in a different, non-prime time, slot in other regions.
It's possible to watch the whole programme by clicking on the 'This clip is from' thumbnail on the link in the original post. ( I did, as I missed the first 15 minutes of the live showing. :-D )
