Gadfly's Danish Dragon

This is a GB for Heller kits and derivatives thereof - any kit, any scale, any variant, any markings. However, not everyone is allowed to build HMS Victory, so get your bids in early. Runs 12 September through 11 October and your host is TobyC.

Brilliant work, the pre-shading and post-lightning has worked well giving a nice worn look.

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Thank you for the kind words on my build.

I've been progressing and have added a few decals. the original Heller Decals were shot being very elderly.

So I found some replacements in a Esci F-100 kit. I think they look ok there are only a few of them.

I've also now flatted the paint back and given it a filter wash of burnt sienna oil well thinned with turps...

I always seem to have a few projects on the go and one of them is an ongoing build of a MiG-25U i've been doing some paint on this and I thought the size comparison between the Draken and MiG-25 was interesting...

Thanks for looking..

More later..

Cheers

Great job, Gadfly. Your pre-shading is second to none and has really brought the plane to life :)

Excellent pre shading work. It does have that well used look. :)

I very much agree. You will have to post a tutorial for us as this is the best weathering I have seen.
