Obligatory box 'n' sprues, some pre-painting done.
Instrument panel done
Seat done with masking tape straps and a number tab from the tree glued under the seat to raise it slightly

Didn't do much assembly on this Aussie this weekend, instead, I went to see 2 Scottish guys dismantle the Aussies!

I enjoyed the tennis too. Please note that when they win they're British.
Obviously Scottish when they lose.

It wasn't as much fun as watching South Africa lose to Japan I'll wager
Oh, and nice work on the cockpit PT.

Re: Purplethistles Aussie P-40E**FINISHED-ISH**
I'm going to call this one finished although I still have to do the radio wires and paint the hood framing. For some reason I've not really 'got into' this one, perhaps because when I went looking for colour schemes I saw two that I REALLY wanted to do....but they were P-40Ms and this is an E. It feels kinda 'it'll have to do'. Also I put a lot into the 'pit walls and panel, but all you can really see when looking into it is the ground through the gap in the wheel wells that was not obvious when putting the fuselage together. The hood is also an ill-fitting bugger. So I'll call a time out on this one till my mojo for it comes back. I do love P-40s, but maybe some absence from this one will make the heart grow fonder.

Sorry Skipper, I've tried 3 times to get better photos of this and they're all just as blurry.
.....just had a thought! maybe there's a smudge on the camera lens! I'll check that out and add fresh batteries so that I don't have to take the pic within 3 seconds of the bloody camera warming up

I like it PT. There is something very 'Business like' about the P40 if you know what I mean.
