Toby's Stosser. ABORTED!
I couldn't resist it. This is the Fw56 and will be the first of my two builds in this GB

Great choice. I don't think I've seen that built before.

OOB. Nothing fancy. I did have a look around but couldn't find anything else of note.

Re: Toby's Stosser
Wing assembled
Floor of cockpit installed. Interior is supposed to be steel green whatever that is .
I think I'll cut off the rear skid before it goes missing and attach it at the end of the build.

Re: Toby's Stosser
The fun begins. Cockpit done
Some rigging needs to be done so added wires before closing up.
Had to tape them down. This is going to be very tricky and may need to resort to the hairy stick rather than spraying.
I can see the next few days being a right pain

Re: Toby's Stosser
Fitting the wings is right pig of a job as there's no locating points on the fuselage. I'm starting to have bad vibes about this kit. I think I may have finally found the one dog that Heller have ever produced.

Approach to fitting wings part 3.
Rigging in place and if this doesn't go to plan it's going in the bin. Not often I admit defeat and I've always rated Heller kits but this one is proving to a real test of my patience and I'm not enjoying it one iota. Seems somewhat ironic the person who suggested a GB for Heller might be the first to have a massive hissy fit and claim a DNF so early on. Actually thinking about it the name should've sent out alarm signals
Anyway I have plenty of others to fall back on. The pub is beckoning me like a siren to the rocks

Re: Toby's Stosser
Too late. I decided to hold off on going to the pub and tried to continue
Here is the result.
Well one learns by one's mistakes and the mistake was buying this kit
