I will be doing this CM 170 Fouga Magister once I get back from my holidays:
Undecided on which scheme to go for though, French or German:
Something to mull over whilst sipping cocktails and dipping me toes in the Med.

Re: Chip's Fouga Magister
Nice choice, I wanted to do the Bundesluftwaffe version for mine but they are way out of register. I think I will use some Modeldecal French markings.

Re: Chip's Fouga Magister
I have a spare set of decals left over from the Airfix one I built as an IAF version. The French markings are a bit battered but the German and Belgian ones seem to be usable and in register. Drop my a PM if you want them.

Re: Chip's Fouga Magister
Just time to tease you with the parts:
At least with this colour I shouldn't lose anything to the carpet monster.
Instructions are well laid out:
The colour call outs are via the Heller enamel 4 number code, but there is a handy conversion table included which gives the basic colour description to help out.
Looking forward to getting to grips with this. See y'all in a week.

Sorry Toby but life has thrown up a few oddities that mean I will have to put my modelling time on hold for a while.

Real life can be a nuisance at times. Never mind I'm sure you'll be back when you are able.
