This is a GB for Heller kits and derivatives thereof - any kit, any scale, any variant, any markings. However, not everyone is allowed to build HMS Victory, so get your bids in early. Runs 12 September through 11 October and your host is TobyC.

Painting done bar a couple of small fiddly bits and then the scary task of applying the decals. I just hope they've stood the test of time as I can't find any am stuff for this particular version of the F94

Curses. Old decal has not reacted well with Microsol :oops:

I've got some Microscale decal restorer so I'll give that a go. If that fails I'll do a whif. Shame as it's such a nice kit

It's going to be a whif. Decals just fell apart and those that didn't curled up like three day old BR sandwich.

That is a pity, was it just a reaction to the sol or generally past their prime?

Past their prime. They started to crack on release from the paper before coming into contact with Microsol. That just heightened their demise.
