This is a GB for Heller kits and derivatives thereof - any kit, any scale, any variant, any markings. However, not everyone is allowed to build HMS Victory, so get your bids in early. Runs 12 September through 11 October and your host is TobyC.

Post by TobyC »

After my minor hiccup with the Stosser I'm going to make the Starfire. Already I feel a whole lot better.

Oh nice. I remember this one as being very good.

Although that was a very long time ago when anything not Airfix looked fabulous.

Weight added to nose.

Fuselage halves joined. I've also cut out the nose cannon recesses.

Never occurred to me to use a rubber band for this before.

I'm off to Lincolnshire for a couple of days to see Just Jane and the Boston Belle. Hopefully the wings will have set by then

It's a very neat looking aircraft, and it seems to be coming along nicely in model form too!

PS What happened with the Stosser if I dare ask? ;-)
Best wishes

Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Let's put it this way I had to take a few days holiday to get over it. Ghastly wing fitting in a nutshell

More paintwork completed. Just need to spray the anti dazzle green on top of the nose and black on the end of it.
