Sign-up and Chat

To build a pairing of machines which would have had a dog-fight, which is the general term for fighter aeroplanes fighting each other. It does not include bomber interception, or missile attacks, but does include "dogfight" type combat of ships, AFV, Sci-Fi, etc.
GB runs 3 Oct - 15 Nov and your host is FredK.

Ah...

Been a rather shocking crap day today and I'm not certain I'm going to have the time to do a full on build for this.

So I'm going to elect the WUSS clause and do a Partially started P-40 and a new bf-109 desert dogfight.
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

Do what ever you can in your own time Sir T.
So far everyone is doing aeroplanes.
I just might do some other pairing to ring a change. :ha:

Anyone in the Antipodes should have started this.
I don't get to start for another 1/2 hour
and anyone in the US of A starts in about 5 hours +.

Hey Daren, how about an Egyptian Spit and an Israeli Buchan?

An Israeli Avia S-199 would be a hell of an interesting subject - if I could find one!

They had a bunch of 1/72 S-99's and S-199's in Halifax Modellers World this morning if that's any help.

Sorry guys but life has thrown up a few oddities that mean I will have to put my modelling time on hold for a while, so will have to bail out of this GB. I will try to look in on the builds if time permits as there are some interesting duo's lined up.

Late to the party as usual.

Just picked up the Moebius Cylon Raider in 72nd (2 kits). Already have the Colonial Viper in 72nd (again, 2 kits) so now just need to sort a base and think I will try to fit in a Battlestar Galactica Dogfight Double as long as there is no issues with that?

Two weeks in and I haven't even decided on what to do.
I think I'll have to for the 'wuss' option and build one kit to go with one already built.
