Toby's pair of Pacific pugilists. FINISHED

To build a pairing of machines which would have had a dog-fight, which is the general term for fighter aeroplanes fighting each other. It does not include bomber interception, or missile attacks, but does include "dogfight" type combat of ships, AFV, Sci-Fi, etc.

Looking forward to seeing this as I really want to get that Wildcat - the Kate looks to be a really good kit too!

Starting on the cockpit and it really is nicely detailed with IP decals. The S/Belts are Eduard WW2 USN.

This has to be one of the nest cockpits I've ever built. Great detail and no fettling required whatsoever. Well done Airfix!!

The U/C needs careful attention in constructing. Dry fit before hand is essential as some fettling is required to get it right.

It then has to be attached to the bulkhead which has to be installed before closing up the fuselage halves. This means I will have to do some airbrushing beforehand on the lower parts as it will be a nightmare to mask.
