At last some further progress; undercarriage is largely built and the fuselage is painted.....having done most of the rigging first was not perhaps one of my better ideas

A little progress this evening; undercarriage painted and rigged, cross-brace rigging added, and a final coat of green to all wing and empennage surfaces
Insides of cockpit need a lick of paint (Yes, I know I should have done it earlier....
) and the outer struts should be white with red bands
Should still be on track for a finish on or about this weekend; fingers crossed

And the rigging is finished!
Well, that is to say, all the rigging I'm going to bother with is finished....from the rigging guide kindly provided by Arc, there is much I have missed out!
Engine is now painted and dry brushed with a little silver, the prop is painted and 'laminations' added in a darker brown; it still needs a gloss coat though.
Undercarriage is complete, outer wing struts are now white with red stripes (although a little touching up of the red will be required)
I'm going to float the decals on with clear gloss, rather than gloss the entire aircraft then have to matt it all down again; hopefully it'll work!
The curly rigging between the wheels is actually a cat hair

Okey Dokey; the finished beast!
I'm quietly pleased with this one as the box art (of the era when 'built' kits were in vogue) makes it look like a dinky toy!
The rigging is not 'by the book', but most of it is mostly where it should be
