Would a Heller Focke Wulf Fw-56 Stosser be allowed? I figure, I'll jump in with either the Fw-56 or the new Eduard Mig-15 UTI.

I'll let OT confirm this, but I reckon the Stosser is fine, provided it's markings/scheme are for its Training role, rather than combat.

Not sure what the Heller decal options are?

The Stosser was never used as a fighter. Instead, it's primary role was that of an advanced trainer.

Although I'm late starting, I've just kicked off with my Airfix Folland Gnat T.1 in Yellow Jacks colours using markings from the current starter kit but interior paint calls from the full kit. Thread here.http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=333&t=12811
