iggie's Novo Master ***FINISHED***

In honor of all those ol' training aircraft - the home of many a foundering fledgling oblivious that while the IP was attempting to show a calm, reassuring demeanor, his hands, tightly clutched onto some aircraft part, were slowly tearing it to pieces .... Many of us have been there .... The GB runs 1 to 29 Nov, and your host is Old_Tonto.

iggie's Novo Master ***FINISHED***

A late entry for this GB (if no one objects? )

Not the finest bit of moulding ever, and the odd bit of flash to remove, but it'll be something different for the shelves! :-D

One of the FROG trainers I'd love to get round to building someday, looking forward to seeing it built.

All the best.

It's certainly a good solid kit! The plastic is really thick throughout and massively so in places
Fuselage is buttoned up now with the (very) basic cockpit in place. I don't think you'll see anything at all through the canopy so I'm not going to bother with any attempt to add detail  :-D

Get yourself some replacement decals. IIRC these ones shatter when introduced to water

Oh goodie......that'll be fun then!
I have spare roundels I would expect but the serials might be more tricky; I'll put a coat of varnish on them now just in case

Cheers for the tip off Ratch 8-)

Engine OOB, painted with Anthracite and dry-brushed with silver

Yellow undersides and Dark Earth topsides (brush applied)

Dark Green added; there is a little touching up to do but nearly ready for some gloss and the decals ( )

Okey Dokey, the final instalments:
Decals on but not matt varnished yet, and missing radio aerial

Matt varnished and aerial fixed (brass rod as the kit part pinged off somewhere :-D )

And with it's colonial cousin; I'm declaring this one DONE 8-)

What a great build. You sneaked that one in fairly sharpish

How did your decals perform? Did you seal them with decal film or some-such?
It looks great
