Wings attached to fuselage. That took about 5 minutes
I've painted the cockpit interior German grey as it seems that's close to the colour they were and I've added an IP I found from a Domini and some PE seat belts I had lurking just to give the interior some feel.

Looking good so far. I do have to say, while the easy build kits- may lack in accuracy, they are enjoyable and relaxing builds sometimes.

HB kits are indeed a quick modelling fix
A small amout of filler wa needed at the wing roots
Ready to mask the canopy and start spraying.

Nice looking aircraft though Toby - would look good in RAF markings.
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

To my eye the cockpit appears too far back from the nose (I don't mean this about the kit dimensions or accuracy, it's just a comment about the aircraft's design) almost as if the designer wanted to get as far from the business end as possible!
But it is still an intriguing camo scheme!

The cockpit is a long way back. It's the Gallic noseiggie wrote:To my eye the cockpit appears too far back from the nose (I don't mean this about the kit dimensions or accuracy, it's just a comment about the aircraft's design) almost as if the designer wanted to get as far from the business end as possible!

The decals are lessening the cameo scheme and Tbf I didn't get it right but not going to change it now. I've got a P51C lined up after I've done the trainer GB. A lot simpler paint wise. I may even do it in Tuskagee markings rather than the ones in the kit.

All decals on but I'm even less impressed with the camo I did than I was yesterday. I tried a new method and I won't be trying it again.
