Any subject, any scale, just so long as it fits within the outer diameter of a CD (or DVD, or BlueRay). And some of those famous UAMF extra ninja brownie bonus points if you can match the CD/DVD with the subject of the build.

Adjustments to the figures have been made;

and construction of the 222 has started:

Just the one point that will require a bit of filler:

I have used the MG34 from the KW to replace the missing one from the 222 cupola:

A piece of sprue number tab will be used to mount it.

Back from a week in Benidorm (researching the colour of sand for the base :-D ) and have managed to get a couple of hours on the bench to finish off the basic construction:

A good day at the bench today, starting off with a coat of black on the vehicles:

Followed by a session of figure painting:

Followed by some work on the base:

Image
The disc in the middle is a thick piece of cardboard to raise the lyno up and make it flat. Once glued together it had some sand glued to it to depict a road junction. I am currently making a road sign for it.

More work on the base:

Image
The variation between the road and the surrounding ground is too much for my liking, and as the sand used actually matches the printed background I will fill in the road with sifted sand rather than go for the painting option.

The sign posts were made of a bit of sprue, pieces of thin card and some spare decals:

Image

Painting has been completed, and the decals applied:

And the figures are finished:

Next stage is to do some weathering on the vehicles and add some stowage for interest.

This is looking excellent.. the 3D effect created by the sign against the background must really pop out at eye level.

Excellent job on matching the base and backdrop! It's shaping up to be a corker.

The base for this has now been completed:

Image

A black wash has been added to the vehicles, and a bit more detail painting needs to be done ( just noticed the exhausts :???: ):

Image

I am busy scratch building some stowage at the moment, once added it will be finished.

Thinking about mounting it so as to see all the angles I came across these on the web:

Image

It is a solar powered rotating turntable used by jewelers to display watches, could be ideal after a bit of manipulation.
