Marky's Battle in the Mutara Nebula. ***FINISHED***

Any subject, any scale, just so long as it fits within the outer diameter of a CD (or DVD, or BlueRay). And some of those famous UAMF extra ninja brownie bonus points if you can match the CD/DVD with the subject of the build.
Runs 20 Dec to 31 Jan, and your host is jRatz.

Marky's Battle in the Mutara Nebula. ***FINISHED***

Post by MarkyM607 »

Picture's to come, but this will be from Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Kahn. Or as I should say Kaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!.
It is at the point where the Enterprise and Reliant are searching for each other in the nebula and the former crosses the screen from top to bottom, while the Reliant, lower down, goes from right to left. My AMT Motion Picture boxed set arrived a couple of days ago, it has the Refit Enterprise, Reliant and a Klingon D-7. The last one may have to wait!!.
Scale will be 1:2500.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Bit of a false start here. Photocopied the DVD of Star Trek II to put on an old CD or DVD but have been poorly since thursday so no progress as yet. Laying on bed typing this!!. Will get started in a couple of days hopefully.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

 This will be fun. Star Trek II is the best Sci-Fi movie ever. Just don't be a two dimensional thinker.

Feeling masses better than Monday but still not up to modelling (so I must really be poorly!!), Looking forward to this myself, just have to get the on screen background into a picture form to go around the back of the diorama.

It's not real? Really? I read it on the internet so it must be true.

I thought about doing a space based theme, but gave up the idea as it would have no atmosphere :-D
