Those decals may be a bit of a pain to go on but they give a really good effect.

That does look good.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

It looks really authentic and battle weary!
Best wishes

I think in truth it looks battle weary because the brush I used to apply the varnish isn't the cleanest one I have!!!.

Looking good, and you found an easy way to apply weathering!! I will have to remember that for the future.

Nice one Marky, a bit of sci-fi. You have managed to get a great weathered look to the Enterprise and the base is looking nicely cosmic...man....

Just a quick update to show progress so far. The Enterprise is done and has a hole drilled into her deflector dish to accept the clear tube. This will allow her to stand on her nose forever!!. The Reliant is underway and the case is getting the purple pink coloured 'spot' although some more artisitic work needs doing!.
Enterprise with battle damage..

The background 'spot' with a bit more to do...

Looking great so far.. didn't realise the kits were so tiny: makes the weathering etc even more impressive. Good skills.
