Those decals may be a bit of a pain to go on but they give a really good effect.

I think in truth it looks battle weary because the brush I used to apply the varnish isn't the cleanest one I have!!!.

Thanks, and in that case I did it all on purpose using skill and talent!.

Meanwhile in other news, the CD case and the DVD stand-in are painted (didn't want to use the real one!)...

Nice one Marky, a bit of sci-fi. You have managed to get a great weathered look to the Enterprise and the base is looking nicely cosmic...man....

(Everything is going to fit! all top to bottom rather than side to side!)
I did think of doing a horizontal version with the ends of the engines cut off in honour of John!!.

Just a quick update to show progress so far. The Enterprise is done and has a hole drilled into her deflector dish to accept the clear tube. This will allow her to stand on her nose forever!!. The Reliant is underway and the case is getting the purple pink coloured 'spot' although some more artisitic work needs doing!.
