Sounds of silence *** Finished***

Any subject, any scale, just so long as it fits within the outer diameter of a CD (or DVD, or BlueRay). And some of those famous UAMF extra ninja brownie bonus points if you can match the CD/DVD with the subject of the build.
Runs 20 Dec to 31 Jan, and your host is jRatz.

Cheers for all the feed back, a trial run has proved it just fits and I should be able to avoid the dreaded laser :-D

Cheers guys.

I have a choice of colours that include white with black sunburst stripes / yellow / yellow with red sunburst stripes.

I looked at the White & black option when I gave it a coat of White primer but thought it needed more colour so have gone for plan "B" Yellow & Red with plan "C" being just Yellow.

Wow, a high-soaring banana!

Seriously, that is looking wonderful. Could you be persuaded to show a pic revealing how the wing is mounted to the base, please?

Pretty.

Ok, I am no expert but with that much bank shouldn't there be some serious aileron movement?

Yes & No, with fix wing you move the controls until you attain the desired position then centre the controls, if the pilot kept the controls in the left wing low position the a/c would just continue the roll until it finishes up where it started.

Where as with helicopters, you have to keep the controls over, as the helicopter will automatically revert to level flight.

I simply drilled a hole in the base and wing tip and added a brass wire.
