Sounds of silence *** Finished***

Any subject, any scale, just so long as it fits within the outer diameter of a CD (or DVD, or BlueRay). And some of those famous UAMF extra ninja brownie bonus points if you can match the CD/DVD with the subject of the build.
Runs 20 Dec to 31 Jan, and your host is jRatz.

Half the decals have been add, I'm going to leave these to fully set before applying the rest.

All the decals are now on, all I need to do is sort out the cockpit, find a small pilot add the canopy and it will be finished.

"Here Comes The Sun" comes to mind for this, with those sunray stripes.
It looks amazing.

Oh wow, that is excellent, both the sailplane and the base. A great idea Splash, very well executed 8-)

I finally found a small enough pilot to fit into the tiny cockpit, I remembered I had a box of Revell German Luftwaffer that always looked to small for 1/72, several of them come with separate lower and upper body, arms and heads, this made it easy to pose the pilot looking to the left at the ground.

Here's a shot of the pilot with his base coat of colour.

Looks good, still a tight fit - the forever problem of "scale" modeling - undersize crew and oversize cockpit walls.

He can't be a proper glider pilot - where's his beanie hat? :ha:

Looking good Splash - I wish there were more Glider kits out there of the more modern stuff.
