Who will be next ***FINISHED***
A figures dio using Mini Art 1/35 Afrika Korps Panzer crew figures (starting now, but will probably not make much progress between Christmas and New Year)

Re: Who will be next
I'm guessing a shirtless Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend on the guitar.

Correct Nigel, but no need to guess, the title is a statement rather than a questionClashcityrocker wrote:I'm guessing a shirtless Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend on the guitar.

I'm doing a 1975 incarnation of The Who, with Daltrey wearing the fringed jacket thing & no shirt.

Nah, as well as typical guitarists snobbery, I draw the line at scratch building complete drum kits!splash wrote:What no Keith Moon?
At gigs I take advantage of the drum solos to go to the toilet without queues.
Apart from the late, great Cozy Powells "633 Squadron" routine, I consider the drums to be like a Sewerage system, I know that they're important, and I'm glad they're there, but I don't really want a tour of them!

Re: Who will be next
Finally got some modelling time! Roger 'n' Pete get some hair and groovy strides. The weird shapes either side of Roger are masking tape fringey waistcoat halves.

Progress on Roger & Pete.
A little voice in my head said that using teased strands of string to make the fringes on Rogers waistcoat thing would be an easier option than cutting them from plasticard..........won't get fooled again!!!!!!

Aye, I added a bit of weight to the nose, so he shouldn't be a tail-sitter!Arcwelder wrote:Holy moses, look at that schnozz! Townshend in the flesh!
Think I'll redo Rogers fringes, though. They looked ok to the naked eye, but camera macro is harsh critic!
He looks like a security guy who's gone overboard adding lanyard to his uniform!
