The Bee Gee Gee Bee Racer *The Feelin's Gone*

Any subject, any scale, just so long as it fits within the outer diameter of a CD (or DVD, or BlueRay). And some of those famous UAMF extra ninja brownie bonus points if you can match the CD/DVD with the subject of the build.
Runs 20 Dec to 31 Jan, and your host is jRatz.

After a second coat of Carmine Red:

The slight over spray of red was easy to scratch off with my thumbnail, as it was over a layer of Future from the decalling. That saved a lot of time.

Me too - I haven't seen that film in years (since I ditched my VHS) but I've seen it loads of time - great film!

That plane was built with a kid's cartoon film in mind!
Looking good Andrew
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

This chap is the shirt-sleeved mechanic from the Eduard WW1 RFC set. He's going to be leaning over the open door, talking to the seated pilot.

Some grass matting has also been stuck to a CD for the base.

The Gee Bee gets the decals on the spats. One of them broke up, so there will be some patching and paint work to do.

Image

Our mechanic has also been painted, and is waiting for the door to be attached, so he can lean on it!

Image

The door has had the decals applied and is just drying off.

Image

I also had to make a new CD base, as I can't find the one I made last night!

It was a backup disc for a long defunct laptop, so I could eliminate that option :ha:
